Jeff Wagoner, president and CEO, Outrigger Hospitality Group, is banking on this full-service resort company’s 75-year track record, robust database and talent for turnarounds to drive growth from its home in Hawai’i to Asia Pacific and the US mainland.
Outrigger Hospitality Group is ready to embark on a world tour. As President and CEO Jeff Wagoner noted in an exclusive interview at the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) held Jan. 22-24, 2024, in Los Angeles, this Honolulu-based beachfront resort specialist’s homework is handled. Last year’s openings on Maui and Kaua’i achieved the long-standing goal to have a full-service resort on the four largest islands in Hawai’i. By the end of 2025, Outrigger will have completed major renovations at key resorts across its home base. Building on that foundation, the 26-property icon is now pursuing targets in Australia, Bali, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam as well as on the US mainland (initially, southern California and south Florida) with an eye to adding six to seven more flags in the near term.
