NATIONAL REPORT – With the upcoming launch of ALIS DESIGN+
on January 24, just before ALIS concludes at the JW Marriott at LA Live, the
program continues to take shape with the addition of Larry Traxler, Hilton’s
global head of architecture and design, to one of the general sessions.
Starting at 3:55 p.m. on the 24th, Traxler is scheduled to
join Thatcher Brown of Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, the joint owner and operator
of Four Seasons Yachts; Jason Cruce of Starwood Capital; Amy Michael Kelly of Hatteras
Sky; Michael Suomi of Suomi Design Works; and Homi Vazifdar of The Canyon Group
to discuss brand extensions, private enclaves and wish-list experiences,
ranging from urban treehouses to novel escapes. Moderators Raj Chandnani of WATG
| Wimberly Interiors will lead a discussion about consumer demand for
experiences beyond the traditional hotel template and how it has expanded the

This new conference and trade fair will feature
