names new VP. Atlanta-based Hospitality Ventures Management Group has named Jessica Myers as vice president of finance and accounting. Myers has nearly 30 years of hospitality accounting and finance experience, and, before joining HVMG, served as vice
president of finance for Pyramid Global Hospitality. She also worked for Pearl Hospitality, White Lodging and Hyatt Corp.
Ithaka
names new CDO. Auburn, Alabama-based Ithaka Hospitality Partners named Scott Rohm its first chief development officer. Rohm’s career includes tenure at Ritz-Carlton and founding roles at Capella and Starwood Capital’s SH Group, where he led brand
development and the launches of Baccarat and 1 Hotels. He was most recently COO of Auberge Resorts Collection. Last week, Ithaka named Ryan Magnon as its COO.
Lodgco names new exec. Grand Rapids, Michigan-based Lodgco Hospitality has appointed Madeline Peters in the new role of development coordinator. She has been with the company for five years, most recently serving as regional director of sales.
Mainsail
promotes exec. Rhonda Mestler has been promoted to senior director of commercial strategy at Mainsail Lodging & Development. Mestler was formerly the corporate director of revenue. Since joining Mainsail in 2010, she has played a key role in advancing
the company’s revenue strategy. She has nearly 15 years at Mainsail and prior experience in sales and revenue management roles with Hilton and Omni Hotels & Resorts.
Okura
names president. Tokyo-based Okura Nikko Hotel Management Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Hotel Okura Co. Ltd., has appointed Hidechika Takasaka as president and representative director. Takasaka brings more than 35 years of experience in the financial
services sector to his new role. In 2024, he was appointed director of the board and senior managing executive officer at Okura Nikko Hotel Management. He joined the Hotel Okura Group in April 2024 as senior managing executive officer and chief officer
of operation management at Okura Nikko Hotel Management. Before joining the Hotel Okura Group, he worked at Dai-ichi Life Insurance Co. Ltd.
Outrigger
names new director. Honolulu-based Outrigger Hospitality Group has named Marson Salim as its director of internal audit. Salim brings more than two decades of experience in hospitality finance to Outrigger, most recently as the regional manager of
internal controls for Marriott International’s Western Regional Office.
Peachtree
promotes Schlosser. Atlanta-based Peachtree Group has promoted Jared Schlosser to head of originations for all commercial real estate and hotel lending, in addition to continuing his role as head of the firm’s Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy
(CPACE) lending program. Schlosser has been with Peachtree since 2019 and previously worked at Voya Investment Management, AloStar Bank of Commerce and Colony Capital, Inc.
PEG names
new CEO. Garett Bjorkman was appointed CEO of Lehi, Utah-based PEG Hospitality Group. Founder Cameron Gunter will transition to the role of executive chairman, stepping back from daily operations to focus on guiding the company’s strategic direction.
He joined PEG as co-CEO in early 2024, having previously led a $10 billion real estate credit platform at CIM Group and launched a $2.5 billion private wealth-focused real estate and infrastructure strategy. He has extensive experience in debt and
equity structuring, asset and portfolio management, capital formation and operational oversight.
Sonder
CEO steps down. San Francisco-based Sonder Holdings said that Co-founder Francis Davidson has stepped down as the company’s CEO and as a member of the board of directors. Janice Sears, chairperson of the board, has been appointed interim CEO, effective
immediately. Sears will continue to serve as Sonder’s board chairperson. The board intends to immediately initiate a search process to identify the next CEO. During his tenure, Davidson grew Sonder into a hospitality brand generating several hundred
million dollars of annual revenue, serving millions of guests across more than 40 markets in nine countries across North America, Europe and the UAE. Since January 2021, Sears has served on the Sonder board, initially as chairperson and subsequently
as lead independent director and audit committee chair. She has previously served as a director of Legacy Sonder since August 2021.
Stonebridge appoints EVP. Stonebridge has appointed Adam Snow as executive vice president and chief strategy officer. In this new role, he will spearhead strategic development, including brand alignment, corporate growth and property-level strategy.
Snow has held senior-level strategic positions with several companies throughout his career, including Aimbridge Hospitality, Dine Brands, The Walt Disney Co., and Dell.
