a roundup of the top hotel executive moves of the past week.
New exec at Hospitality America. Greenville, South
Carolina-based Hospitality America has promoted Leigh Holloway to chief
strategy officer. Holloway has more than two decades in the hospitality sector
and joined the company in 2016 and formerly served as vice president of revenue strategy.
New CFO for HVMG. Atlanta-based Hospitality Ventures Management
Group has named Linda Philp as senior vice president and CFO. Philp
previously was CFO of Universal Turbine Parts and also had CFO roles at
Lodgian and The Krystal Co.. She also worked at PepsiCo, Kraft
General Foods, Pizza Hut and Campbell Soup.
JLL adds senior director in NC. JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality group has added
John Testerman to its Raleigh, North Carolina, office as senior director.
Testerman has over 12 years of experience in the commercial real estate
industry.
Millennium names new CEO for KSA. London-based Millennium Hotels and Resorts
has appointed Wahdan Al Kadi as the new CEO of the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia market. Al Kadi previously served as chief business officer at Saudi
Arabia’s Tourist Development Fund. He previously worked at Samba,
Hoshanco Holding, and Tharawat Holding Co.
Oliver Hospitality names president. Nashville-based Oliver Hospitality has
appointed Chett Abramson president. Abramson, who previously served as COO for
the company, has over 30 years of experience in the industry.
OTO Development promotes VP. Spartanburg, South Carolina-based OTO
Development has promoted Dennis Mitchell to vice president of development and construction. Mitchell has been with the company for 17 years.
Sage names new COO of restaurant
division. Denver-based
Sage Hospitality Group announced that Justin Fowler will be COO for Sage
Restaurant Concepts, effective June 1. Most recently, Fowler was COO for sbe and previously worked at Starr Restaurants and Jean
Georges Management.
