Atlantic Hospitality
adds execs. Kennebunkport,
Maine-based management company Atlantic Hospitality has promoted several
members to its executive team. Justin Grimes joins the company as managing
partner and Andrea Weissing joins as corporate director of revenue management
and distribution. Before stepping into his current role, Grimes oversaw 24
hotels and restaurants across New England as the regional managing director for
EOS Hospitality. Weissing joins Atlantic Hospitality from AKA Hotels and
Residences, where she served as revenue director. She worked for Starwood
Hotels & Resorts and managed several independent boutique hotels in New
England.
Driftwood's new execs. North Palm Beach, Florida-based third-party
management company Driftwood Hospitality Management (DHM) made three
promotions. Bryan Postema has been named COO,
Michael Buddemeyer has been appointed VP of operations focus service, and
Michael Diaz has been promoted to chief strategy officer. Postema has over 20
years of experience and previously served as managing director for Driftwood
Capital Assets. Buddemeyer has more than 20 years of experience in hospitality,
and prior to his current role he served as a regional director of operations
and general manager with DHM. Diaz previously served as COO since the company’s
inception in 1998.
HVMG promotes two
executives. Atlanta-based
third-party operator Hospitality Ventures Management Group has
expanded its executive team with several promotions. Cory Chambers has been
promoted to executive vice president and chief commercial and analytics
officer, and Maggie Rosa has been promoted to vice president of operations. A
25-plus-year hospitality veteran, Chambers previously worked with White
Lodging, most recently as vice president of revenue generation. He also worked
at Marriott International. With two and a half decades of operations
experience, Rosa began her hospitality career with Marriott International and
has held numerous operational positions, including assistant
general manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Greenway Plaza and general manager
of the C. Baldwin, a Curio Hotel in downtown Houston.
New exec at Kessler. Orlando-based Kessler has named John Luckett as
president of hospitality operations. Luckett was formerly Kessler’s COO and
will return to the brand, expanding on his 15-year tenure. He has over 30 years
of industry experience, and before his current role, John served as the COO at
MasterCorp, Inc.
New managing director
for Luxury Frontiers. Johannesburg, South
Africa-based Luxury Frontiers, a design firm specializing in architecture and
interior design for eco-tourism hospitality, has named Guy McGregor as managing
director. McGregor brings over 21 years of expertise from his tenure as general
manager for group development, projects and procurement at Singita.
Mandarin names new
development exec. Hong Kong-based
Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has named Tiffany Cooper as head of development,
Americas. Cooper has more than 30 years of experience in sales, marketing,
operations and development. She was most recently chief development officer, Americas
and Caribbean, at Aimbridge Hospitality. She also worked at Kimpton Hotels &
Restaurants, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Marriott International.
