Dreamscape
names new VP. Dallas-based Dreamscape Hospitality has appointed Angela Englett as vice
president of revenue management. With over two decades of
experience, she began her hospitality career at the front desk and steadily gained hands-on experience in front-office operations, reservations and
revenue strategy. Before joining Dreamscape, Englett served as regional vice
president of revenue strategy at Aimbridge Hospitality.
New CEO
at Grenada Tourism Authority. The Grenada Tourism Authority has appointed Stacey Liburd as
its new CEO, effective June 15. She has more than 15 years of experience in
destination marketing, stakeholder engagement and tourism development and before her appointment, Liburd served as director of tourism at the
Anguilla Tourist Board.
Giri
names F&B director. Quincy, Massachusetts-based Giri Hotels has named Norman Hebert as
corporate food & beverage director. Hebert brings more than three decades
of hospitality and academic experience and was previously senior manager of
operations at OGT Inns in Ogunquit, Maine. He also led Perkins Cove Kitchen at
the Inn at Perkins Cove as general manager and executive chef.
New COO
for Langham. Hong
Kong-based Langham Hospitality Group has appointed Kevin Robinson as COO.
Robinson returns to LHG after previously leading The Langham, Chicago during
its pre-opening phase in 2011. He has over 30 years of experience in
hospitality, including building working relationships with hotel owners
internationally. His career includes leadership roles with Westin and Four
Seasons Hotels and Resorts, where he gained operational and strategic
experience in markets such as Egypt, the Caribbean and the U.S.
New
director for L+R. London-based L+R Hotels has named Gemma Mc Aloon as its new director of brand and communications. The newly created role will see Mc Aloon lead the
development of an in-house brand and communications function to support the
group’s growth. Mc Aloon joined the global PR agency W
Communications, where she most recently served as senior vice president of its
North America office and launched its U.S. operations.
New CIO
for Palette Hotels. New York City-based Palette Hotels has named Joseph Yi as
chief investment officer. Over the past 20 years, Yi has gained experience in
acquisitions, capital markets, asset management and strategic development. He
previously held chief investment officer roles at Frontier Development &
Hospitality Group and Real Hospitality Group. He also worked at Lam Group
and SHVO.
Resident
Hotels names new exec. London-based Resident Hotels Ltd. has appointed Julia Gosling to
the newly created role of head of brand and marketing. Before this appointment,
Gosling spent eight years at Hand Picked Hotels, overseeing brand development,
digital growth, content and PR.
New exec
at Vision. Chattanooga, Tennessee-based Vision Hospitality Group has promoted O’Mally
Foster to chief people officer. With over 30 years of hospitality
experience, Foster joined Vision Hospitality Group from The Chattanoogan Hotel,
where he served as director of human resources. He previously held leadership
roles with Noble Investment Group and Benchmark Hospitality.
White
Lodging names new VP. Merrillville, Indiana-based White Lodging has named Anne Tabakian as vice
president of food & beverage. She joined the company in 2016, most recently as corporate senior
director of food & beverage. Before joining White Lodging, Anne
spent nearly a decade at
Uchi Restaurants and Hillstone Restaurant Group.
Xanterra
names two leaders. Denver-based Xanterra Travel Collection has made two key leadership
appointments. Jason Grant has been named chief information officer, effective
June 2. He previously served as vice president of IT at Windstar Cruises, and
his previous roles included leadership positions at Holland America, Lindblad
Expeditions, and Shoot 360. He will succeed Richard Rabinoff, who will retire
at the end of the year but remain with Xanterra during the interim to support
several key projects. Xanterra also named Carrie Provo as corporate director of
sales on May 19. She most recently served as corporate director of sales & marketing at
Timbers Co. and also worked at Stonebridge Companies.
New exec
at Zeal. London-based Zeal Hotels has appointed James Ferdinando as sustainable
development lead, as the group expands around the U.K. The newly-created role
follows the successful opening of the voco Zeal Exeter Science Park, IHG’s
first branded net-zero carbon hotel. Zeal Hotels will draw on Ferdinando’s
extensive experience in sustainable construction practices and sustainable
development. He joins the group from RED Construction, which constructed the
voco Zeal at Exeter Science Park.
