Coury
appoints COO. Dallas-based Coury Holdings has announced the appointment of Bo Patel as COO.
With more than two decades of experience in hospitality management,
development, and investment, Patel will lead West Coast growth and operations
for Coury’s West Coast assets, focusing on the Concert Hospitality division.
Foley
Entertainment Group names CEO. Davenport, Iowa-based Foley Entertainment Group (FEG) has
appointed Shane Green as CEO. Green will oversee business operations for FEG’s
global portfolio of sports and hospitality entities, including the company’s
luxury hotel collection. Green has worked for brands like The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co., the NBA, MGM
Resorts, United Airlines, Westfield, and BMW.
New
general counsel at Hilton. Hilton has named Caroline Krass as executive vice president and general
counsel. She most recently served as the general counsel for the Department of
Defense (DoD) and has held senior leadership roles throughout her career,
including as general counsel for General Insurance and deputy general counsel
at AIG and as partner at Gibson Dunn. Krass will join Hilton on March 17 and
serve as a member of the executive committee. Prior to her leadership roles at
DoD and in the private sector, she made history as the first woman to be
confirmed by the U.S. Senate as general counsel of the Central Intelligence
Agency, part of her 25 years of public sector experience.
Horwarth
HTL names new exec. Horwath HTL has appointed Bryan Younge as managing partner, practice leader –
Valuation Advisory Americas. In his new role, Younge will oversee the firm’s
advisory services across the Americas. He has over 25 years of experience in
the hospitality industry and has worked at Newmark, Colliers, Cushman &
Wakefield, Deloitte, Andersen, PwC, Sage Hospitality Resources and HVS. Horwath
HTL also plans to expand its team with the addition of several professionals
across a variety of positions within the Americas region.
Method
adds 2 execs. Philadelphia-based Method Co. has added two real estate veterans to its
leadership team, Dan Mullen and James Nozar. Mullen will be chief business
officer and president of Method Concepts. He was the former president and CMO
of Bedrock Detroit. Nozar joins Method Co. as its chief development officer and
president of Method Development. Most recently, Nozar was the managing partner
of East+Main and also worked for Strategic Property Partners and JBG Smith.
RobertDouglas promotions. RobertDouglas has promoted Andrew Heilmann to managing director and Max Chipouras to vice president. Heilmann, previously a senior vice president, and Chipouras, previously a senior associate, are both based in the firm’s New York office. Before joining RobertDouglas, Heilmann served in senior acquisitions and development roles with several hotel owners, operators, and independent brands, including Lark Hotels, Provenance Hotels, GFI Hospitality, Two Roads Hospitality and Commune Hotels + Resorts. Chipouras previously worked in commercial real estate sales and consulting with Cresa New York.
Deitemeyer
joins Rockbridge. Mike Deitemeyer, most recently CEO of Aimbridge Hospitality, has joined the
executive team at vertically integrated investment firm Rockbridge in Columbus,
Ohio, serving in several leadership roles as it looks to scale and grow the
platform overall, specifically in the luxury and lifestyle segment. He will be
executive vice president of Rockbridge Holdings, president of its development
company, and lead strategic affiliates beginning with their newest acquisition,
ZaZa Hotels and Resorts.
Stambules
promoted at Sage. Sage
Hospitality Group, Denver, promoted Dean Stambules to chief investment officer
to oversee all new business initiatives, including the identification of
investment opportunities for both acquisitions and development, as well as the
growth of Sage’s third-party management portfolio – for both hotels and
restaurants.
