Hotel executive moves: Brittain, HVMG, PM Hotel Group

Here is a compilation of the most important executive moves of the past week in the hotel investment world alphabetically (by company):

Brittain names new CDO. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina-based Brittain Resorts & Hotels appointed Brittney Jones as chief development officer. Jones most recently was vice president of strategic partnerships with the Charleston, South Carolina-based Raines Co.

Hilton’s Phil Cordell retiring. Phil Cordell, global category head of lifestyle and new brands for Hilton, is retiring and transitioning to an advisor role. As previously announced, Kevin Osterhaus recently joined Hilton as president, global lifestyle brands. Cordell has over 40 years of experience and leadership skills at Hilton, starting when he became a bellman with Hilton in high school. He will transition to the advisor role effective in July.

HVMG adds new finance exec. Atlanta-based Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG) named Ron Fader as senior vice president, finance and accounting. With nearly 35 years of financial experience, many of those in hospitality, Fader most recently was senior vice president of finance and accounting with Atrium Hospitality. He has also worked for Legacy Ventures and held similar leadership positions with InterContinental Hotel Group and Hilton.

McNeill names new VP. Germantown, Tennessee-based McNeill Hotel Co. has named Marci Jacobs as vice president of sales and revenue generation. Jacobs has more than 25 years of hotel experience and previously was a regional director of sales with Peachtree Group Hospitality Management also worked for Aimbridge Hospitality, Crescent Hotels and Resorts, Marcus Hotels and Resorts and John Q. Hammons Hotels.

Minor Hotels Europe & Americas names new CFO. Madrid-based Minor Hotels Europe & Americas, formerly known as NH Hotel Group, has appointed Ana Muñoz Sánchez as CFO. Sánchez previously held the position of senior vice president of corporate reporting and financial information after joining the company in January of 2024 and previously worked for Laboratorios Farmacéuticos Rovi, Boston Scientific and Takeda Pharmaceuticals.

Robin Hutson, wife retiring from The Pig. British hotelier Robin Hutson said he and his wife Judy will step down at the end of 2024 from their leadership roles at The Pig, the boutique hotel collection they founded in 2011. The Pig brand was sold to KSL Capital Partners in 2022, with the Hutsons retaining a portion of it. Tom Ross, who was promoted to CEO of the group last May, will remain in leadership.

New exec at PM Hotel Group. Chevy Chase, Maryland-based PM Hotel Group has appointed Paul Sacco as chief growth and development officer. Sacco has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including roles at Mint House, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and Driftwood Capital. He was most recently chief growth and development officer at Mint House.
