CEO for Beaumier. Challes-les-Eaux, France-based boutique hotel group Beaumier has appointed Billy
Skelli-Cohen as CEO, effective January 1. Most recently, he was CEO of Zien
Group, the owner and operator of the Eden Hotels brand. Before Zien,
Skelli-Cohen founded and led Lore Group. Beaumier currently owns and operates
11 hotels in France, Spain and Switzerland.
Choice
ANZ exec. Choice Hotels Asia Pacific has appointed Katy
Frosdick as senior manager of development for Australia and New Zealand.
Frosdick brings more than 15 years of experience to Choice Hotels. She most
recently served as head of portfolio growth at Urban Rest and she also worked
for Quest Apartment Hotels and Metcash’s Independent Hardware Group.

Hotels EMEA exec. Marielle Vroemen has
been promoted to head of operations at Choice Hotels EMEA, effective December
1. Vroemen was most recently director of franchise performance and revenue
management, EMEA for the company. She previously worked at Marriott International,
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co., Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts and Waldorf Astoria
Ras Al Khaimah.
CEO at The Doyle
Collection. Timur Sentuerk has
been appointed CEO of Dublin, Ireland-based The Doyle Collection. Sentuerk and
was most recently COO at Kempinski Hotels. He also worked at Pure Data Centres
Group, Langham Hospitality Group, Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Interstate Hotels
& Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co., Oberoi Hotels & Resorts,
Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and Hyatt Hotels Corp.
Exec at easyHotel. Anja Bachmann has been appointed head of
development — Germany and the Netherlands at London-based easyHotel. In this
newly created role, Bachmann joined easyHotel from The Embassies where she was
vice president, leading strategic growth initiatives and managing project
development in Europe. Before this, Bachmann worked at Meininger Hotels and GBI
as a real estate project developer in Germany and Austria.
VP of Sales at First
Hospitality. Chuck Moses has been
appointed vice president of sales at Chicago-based First Hospitality. Moses has
more than 20 years of experience in hospitality sales and, most recently, was
senior regional director of sales and marketing at Davidson Hospitality Group’s
lifestyle operating vertical, Pivot. Prior to that, he served as director of
sales and marketing for Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt in Austin.
GF Hotels hires new
VP. Philadelphia-based GF Hotels & Resorts
hired Chris Lorino as senior executive vice president of operations.
Lorino has more than two decades of experience in hospitality and most
recently served as senior vice president of operations for First Hospitality.
He also worked for Provenance Hotels, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Sage
Hospitality.
Lavoral Hotels names
exec. Nicholas Granger has been appointed
commercial director at Lyon, France-based Lavorel Hotels. Granger has more than
23 years of career experience. Before joining Lavorel, he led the commercial
teams at Sandoz Foundation Hotels, where he contributed to the group’s
strategic expansion. He also worked at the Grandes Alpes Hotel, Oetker Hotel
Collection, the Grand Hôtel Cannes and Belmond.
Exec at MGM
Resorts International. MGM Resorts
International has promoted Ari Kastrati to chief content, hospitality and
development officer. Kastrati joined MGM Resorts in 2010 and most recently
served as chief hospitality officer, overseeing the company’s Hospitality
Center of Excellence. The company reports that he has also been instrumental in
developing a leading portfolio of dining and nightlife destinations. He worked
at several premium hospitality companies before joining MGM Resorts and has
more than 25 years of industry experience.
CEO at Rosen
Hotels & Resorts. Orlando-based Rosen
Hotels & Resorts has named Frank Santos as its next CEO. The move comes one
week after founder and president Harris Rosen’s death at the age of 85. Santos
was CFO for Rosen Hotels for almost 39 years and later added vice president to
his title. Santos also worked with Harris Rosen on a number of the company’s
philanthropic efforts.
Steigenberger hires
future CEO. Frankfurt,
Germany-based Steigenberger Hotels GmbH has appointed Stephan Hungeling as
chief transformation officer and managing director. Hungeling was most recently
CEO of Christ Juweliere und Uhrmacher Hageseit 1863 GmbH and worked for Valmano
GmbH, Douglas, OC&C Strategy Consultants and Juwelon GmbH. The company also
said Oliver Bonke, CEO of H World International, will become a member of the
supervisory board of the Steigenberger Hotels GmbH, effective April 1, 2025,
when he will hand the role of CEO of Steigenberger Hotels to Hungeling.
