The Ascott Limited announces six
appointments. Singapore-based The Ascott Limited
announced six appointments in business development, strategy and operations.
The new appointments to Ascott’s business development team are Venessa Koo,
vice president of business development for Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Philippines
and Vietnam; Teo Junrong, vice president of business development for Singapore,
Malaysia and Indonesia and Thomas Lamson, vice president, business development
and product & technical services for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
In addition, Joseph Wong, managing director for China, will now oversee all
aspects of that market. Ascott also named Steven Chan as vice president of
global franchise services and regional general manager for Indochina, and
Sophie Mougel as vice president of strategy and regional general manager for
the Philippines and Malaysia.
Dalata names new executive. Dublin-based Dalata Hotel Group has named Kathrin
Jung-Reinhard head of development strategy—Northern Europe. Jung-Reinhard will
be based in Frankfurt, Germany, and the appointment underscores Dalata’s
strategy to expand its portfolio into continental Europe. Prior to this role,
Jung-Reinhard was head of real estate portfolio management at
Universal-Investment GmbH. She has also held senior roles in CBRE Germany and
Deka Immobilien GmbH.
Dreamscape adds VP. Dallas-based Dreamscape Hospitality has appointed
Christina Pedersen as vice president of sales and marketing. Pedersen has
over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry and was most recently
vice president of asset management at NewcrestImage and worked for Aimbridge
Hospitality in several leadership positions.
Langham adds new SVP. Hong Kong-based Langham Hospitality Group has named Jack
Xiao as senior vice president – operations, China. Xiao will be based in the
Shanghai office, and will oversee the group’s mainland China portfolio of
hotels and resorts while also supervising the functional teams for the market.
He previously worked for Accor, Wanda Hotels & Resorts, Starwood Hotels
& Resorts and Yongle Huazhu.
