Aperture
promotes 2 to vice president. Atlanta-based Aperture Hotels has promoted Melissa Brown and
Chandi Saunders to vice president of commercial strategy. Brown and Saunders
both bring more than two decades of hospitality experience and have served as
regional directors of commercial strategy since July 2024. Brown most recently
served as regional director of sales for Aperture and worked for Aimbridge
Hospitality, Terrapin Hospitality and Marriott-branded properties. Saunders has
been with Aperture since 2019 and has led commercial efforts for hotels across
Georgia and Southeast.
AutoCamp
names new COO, CCO. Santa Barbara, California-based AutoCamp Hospitality Group has promoted David
DiFalco to president in addition to being COO. Since joining AutoCamp as COO in
2024, DiFalco has played a role in operationalizing strategy, enhancing
structure, and reinforcing the executive foundation. With 25 years in
hospitality, he has held senior roles at Stonebridge Companies, Under Canvas,
and Great Wolf Resorts. Bryan Terzi has been promoted to chief commercial
officer and will lead sales, marketing, and revenue strategy. Since joining
AutoCamp last year as chief marketing officer, he’s played a role in
positioning the brand for sustained success. With over two decades of marketing experience, Terzi
previously held senior roles at Sage Hospitality and Sydell Group.
KHP names
new general counsel. San Francisco-based KHP Capital Partners (KHP) has appointed Alex Lewis as
executive vice president and general counsel. In this role, she will provide
comprehensive legal and strategic support to the KHP funds and oversee KHP’s
legal, regulatory, risk management and compliance matters. Lewis will succeed Judy Miles, who will continue at KHP as an executive advisor. Lewis
joins KHP from Goodwin Procter, where she was a partner in the real estate
industry group.
La Vie
names new director. Sydney-based La Vie Hotels and Resorts has named Ruwani Weerasinghe as director
of asset management and acquisitions. Most recently, she served as assistant
vice president of asset management at Frasers Hospitality, where she led
operational strategy and performance since September 2023. Before that, she
worked at Pro-Invest Group.
Plamondon
names new CFO. Frederick, Maryland-based The Plamondon Companies announced that Matthew
Zappone is joining the organization as CFO. Most notably, he
spent the last 25 years at Marriott International in various finance and
accounting department roles. The Plamondon Companies includes Plamondon
Hospitality Partners, which owns and operates 16 Marriott, Hilton, and IHG
properties across Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.
Remington names new VP. Dallas-based management company Remington
Hospitality has appointed industry veteran Ryan Matlock as its new divisional
vice president of operations. Matlock most recently served as regional vice
president of operations at Aimbridge Hospitality, where he spent the past 11
years. Matlock began his career with Marriott International, gaining
foundational experience in full-service operations.
