New exec
at Access Point Financial. Atlanta-based Access Point Financial has named Daniel Zagoria as
managing director, business development. Zagoria has over 12 years of
experience in the hospitality industry. Before joining APF, he was vice
president of credit for Peachtree Group and worked for Marcus & Millichap.
New COO
at Aperture Hotels. Atlanta-based Aperture Hotels has named Patrick Short as its new COO. Before
joining Aperture, Short was president of Peachtree Hospitality Management. His
experience spans over 25 brands, including independent, premium, dual-branded
and lifestyle hotels. He has operational expertise across various hospitality
sectors, including full-service, select-service and extended-stay hotels across
30-plus states.
Auberge
names new CEO. Christian Clerc has been named president and CEO of Auberge Resort Collection,
effective September 1, succeeding 10-year leader Craig Reid. Clerc served as
global president at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts from 2016 to 2022. Before
assuming responsibility for global operations at Four Seasons, Clerc served as
president, EMEA, from 2014 until 2016, overseeing the company’s operations in
the region. After leaving Four Seasons in 2022, Clerc engaged in a variety of
projects, including serving on the board of Artemis RE Partners, assuming the
position of chairman of the board of duPont Registry Group, a luxury automotive
and motorsport ecosystem, and advising on global luxury development projects.
New execs
at GF Hotels. Philadelphia-based GF Hotels & Resorts has named John Parker as its new
COO. Parker served as regional vice president of operations from 2009 to 2012
for GFF and has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. His
most recent role was COO at Real Hospitality Group. GF also named Marcus
Marshall as vice president of food and beverage. Marshall brings nearly 30
years of experience and industry knowledge in hospitality and restaurant
management. Before joining GF Hotels & Resorts, he held significant
operational leadership roles for prominent restaurant and hospitality groups
throughout the industry.
New chief
legal officer at Hard Rock. Orlando-based Hard Rock International has promoted Frank Chesky to
executive vice president and chief legal officer. Chesky has been practicing
law for nearly 25 years, with the last 14 years specializing in gaming law. He
joined Hard Rock in 2017 as vice president and general counsel for Hard Rock
Hotel & Casino Atlantic City. In 2021, he was promoted to vice president
and deputy general counsel and assumed the role of interim general counsel in
2023. Before joining Hard Rock, he worked for Sportech Inc.
New JLL
lead for Western region. JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality group announced that Tony Muscio
will join the company as a senior managing director leading the Western region.
Muscio has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, including
18 years at JLL. Muscio’s career started
at PKF Consulting. He joined JLL in 2004, where he spent nearly two decades,
most recently as a managing director in the Hotels & Hospitality Group,
covering the West Coast. His latest role was as a managing director at KBC
Advisors.
Minor Hotels names new VP. Bangkok-based Minor Hotels has named Richard Beh as vice president commercial –
Asia, effective April 1st. Before joining Minor Hotels, Beh served as global
vice president for hotel chains at Trip.com. He has worked for Marriott
International and the Shangri-La Group.
