Americas
Best Value Studios by Sonesta is an extended-stay extension of Sonesta’s most
franchised brand.
NEWTON, Massachusetts — Newton, Massachusetts-based
Sonesta International Hotels Corp. is debuting Americas Best Value Studios by
Sonesta, an extended-stay extension of Sonesta’s most franchised brand,
Americas Best Value Inn (ABVI).
Sonesta said this new brand type within the ABVI
portfolio is designed to meet the growing demand for value-driven, longer-term
accommodation at an accessible price point.
Each room will feature a kitchenette, equipped with an
apartment-sized refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, and sink. The operational
model for these properties will include a front desk presence, bi-weekly
housekeeping services and mandatory on-site laundry facilities. Pet-friendly
accommodations will also be an option.
The Americas Best Value Inn maintains a majority presence
in secondary and tertiary markets. Sonesta said the model makes sense for an
owner looking for an extended-stay property with limited front desk and
housekeeping staffing, an optional fitness center, a lobby market, and
reasonable brand standards. Guests of Americas Best Value Studios can earn or
redeem points as members of the award-winning Sonesta Travel Pass guest loyalty
program.
Sonesta has approximately 1,100 properties and 100,000 rooms across 13 brands in eight countries. The company acquired Red Lion Hotels Corp. in March 2021, which included the brands Americas Best Value Inn and Red Lion. The purchase established Sonesta as one of the largest hotel companies at the time and it is now the eighth largest hotel company in the U.S.
“America's Best Value Studios by Sonesta represents a
strategic evolution of our trusted America's Best Value Inn brand,” said Keith
Pierce, executive vice president & president of Franchise Development at
Sonesta. “We are expanding our offerings to directly address the increasing
demand within the extended-stay segment, providing a practical and comfortable
solution for travelers seeking longer-term lodging at an exceptional value.”
