President Chris Green tells Hotel Investment Today that the company is working on a wellness retreat and several non-traditional projects
in the U.S. and Caribbean.
Remington Hotels has rebranded to Remington Hospitality to
take advantage of opportunities emerging in new segments such as wellness
resorts, glamping, non-traditional lodging and other complex environments with
high volume beverage and food components.
For example, Remington Hospitality President Chris Green
told Hotel Investment Today that Remington is engaged in a one-of-a -kind
wellness retreat in California, and a number of non-traditional projects in the
U.S. and Caribbean.
”Remington Hospitality captures the essence of who we are,”
Green added. “We are no longer just the best hotel manager, but an evolving
organization focused on current and emerging verticals in hospitality. Our goal
of being the best never changes, it has just expanded… Deal flow in these
emerging sectors is robust and we are uniquely positioned to take advantage of
it.”
While the company’s primary hotel logo will remain the same,
Remington’s website and social media accounts have been updated to reflect the
new brand.
“In the last few years, we have added a lot of independent
hotels, continued to get great traction with non-traditional hotel lodging,
have doubled down on wellness travel, and have seen our beverage and food
revenues exceed most restaurant companies,” said Remington Hospitality CEO Sloan
Dean. “It is a natural evolution that Remington Hotels becomes Remington
Hospitality.”
