Palladium
adds in NYC. Madrid-based Palladium Hotel Group has launched the 138-key Only You Hotel New
York, which is scheduled to open in the last quarter of 2026. Palladium Hotel
Group operates more than 40 hotels and over 13,000 rooms and residences,
distributed among eight countries: Spain, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica,
Italy, Brazil, the U.S. and the United Arab Emirates, and manages 11 brands.
Quorum
adds Indian Wells resort. Newport Beach, California, and Plano, Texas-based Quorum Hospitality has
added the historic 156-key Indian Wells Resort Hotel in Indian Wells,
California, to its management portfolio. The hotel was recently
purchased by Arcadia, California-based Continental Assets Management. Founded
by Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz in 1957, the resort is known
for its vintage glamour, scenic surroundings and resort-style amenities.
Four
Seasons adds in Brazil. Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is partnering with real estate asset
management firm Catuaí Asset on the 120-key Four Seasons Hotel Rio de Janeiro
in Brazil. Before opening as a Four Seasons hotel in 2029, the existing
structure, known locally as Hotel Marina Palace, will undergo a complete
renovation. The hotel will join a growing collection of South American
properties, including the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences
Cartagena, opening in 2026.
Rocco
Forte adds in Italy. Rocco Forte Hotels continues to expand in Italy with its
second hotel in Puglia, the 86-key Masseria del Cardinale in Fasano, scheduled to debut in 2028. The estate is leased through an agreement with
PGIM's real estate business with Re.vo and Dekus as development partners. Rocco
Forte Hotels has a collection of 15 individual hotels, resorts, residences and
villas.
First
Park Hyatt in Asia reopens. Hyatt Hotels Corp. is reopening Park Hyatt Tokyo following a 19-month
restoration, marking the most comprehensive renewal in the property’s 30-year
history. The project is Asia’s first Park Hyatt hotel since the brand opened in
1994.
World’s
largest Mövenpick in the Philippines. Accor is partnering with Megaworld to develop the 1,530-key
Mövenpick Manila Bay Westside in the Philippines. The deal will introduce the
world’s largest Mövenpick hotel upon its opening in mid-2026. Accor is the
largest international hotel operator in the Philippines with 13 hotels and more
than 4,700 keys across eight brands, and a development pipeline of 16 hotels.
IHG adds
in India. IHG Hotels
& Resorts has signed a management agreement with Emproy Hospitality LLP for
the development of a 100-key Holiday Inn Resort Lonavala in India. The hotel is
scheduled to open in 2027. IHG currently operates 51 hotels across six brands
in India and has a pipeline of 72 hotels due to open over the next three to
five years.
