Marriott
signed a five-hotel agreement in Vietnam, while Hilton is adding five hotels in
Turkey.
INTERNATIONAL
REPORT — Marriott and Hilton both announced agreements, with Marriott adding
four hotels and a branded residence totaling 1,900 keys in Vietnam and Hilton
adding five hotels and 561 keys in Turkey.
Marriott
signed an agreement with Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam-based Masterise Group to
open four hotels, including one branded residence, in Vietnam, adding close to
1,900 keys to the company’s portfolio in the country.
Several of
the properties are in Ho Chi Minh City and the launch of The Ritz-Carlton,
Saigon and The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Saigon will set a new benchmark for
luxury hospitality in Vietnam. The signings also include an eco-resort complex
in Can Gio, which will include JW Marriott and Four Points by Sheraton hotels.
The agreement also sets up the first Marriott hotel in Hanoi.
This
agreement marks a pivotal step in Masterise Group’s expansion into hospitality
and resorts and its rise as an experiential ecosystem leader.
The hotels
include the 494-key Co Loa Marriott Hotel in Hanoi; the combined 780-key JW
Marriott Hotel Saigon Can Gio and Four Points by Sheraton Saigon, Can Gio,
which are part of the 2,870-hectare Can Gio Coastal Urban Tourism Area, an
ecotourism destination which is set to attract up to nine million annual
visitors to the area and 231-key The Ritz-Carlton, Saigon and the 420-key The
Ritz-Carlton Residences, Saigon, which will mark the brand’s debut in Ho Chi
Minh city.
Through the
third quarter of 2025, Marriott has 29 properties across Vietnam, spanning 12
brands, with more than 30 properties in the pipeline.

The Hilton Antalya City Centre is one of five hotels Hilton is opening in Turkey in the coming years.
Hilton’s
growth in Turkey
Hilton is
expanding in Turkey with the signings of five properties across four of its
brands, building on the company’s 70-year presence in the country.
The new
hotels include, the 254-key Hilton Antalya City Centre, which is scheduled to
open in 2028; the 109-key DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul Maçka, which is opening
this spring; the 46-key Gist Istanbul, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, which is
scheduled to open in 2027; the 48-key Hotel Istanbul Sisli, Tapestry Collection
by Hilton, which is schedule to open in 2028 and the 104-key Hilton Garden Inn
Kocaeli Dilovasi, which will become the city’s first internationally branded
hotel when it opens in 2027.
In addition
to these new signings, 2026 will see Hilton further strengthen its flagship
brand's presence with the opening of Hilton Istanbul Airport and the completion
of the renovation of Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus.
Following
the debut of the Tapestry Collection and Canopy by Hilton brands in Turkey in
2025, Hilton’s lifestyle portfolio is also poised for continued growth this
year, with five openings scheduled. These include Hilton’s first cave hotel,
Elika Cave Suites Cappadocia, Curio Collection by Hilton, as well as Porto
Chiara Istanbul Karakoy and Les Temps Istanbul Karakoy, both part of the Curio
Collection brand. The pipeline also features Palazzo Donizetti Istanbul and
Myrna Izmir Konak, each joining the Tapestry Collection brand.
