New president for Coury Hospitality. Dallas-based Coury Hospitality has promoted Andrew Casperson to president. Casperson joined Coury in the spring of 2023 and has led operations strategies for the portfolio of hotels, bars and restaurant
concepts. Casperson will also lead Concert Hospitality, which launched in
July to manage hotels in the full- and limited-service sectors.
TPI refinance in Minnesota. Willmar, Minnesota-based TPI Hospitality has secured $33.1 million in refinancing for two hotels in Minneapolis-St. Paul: the 125-key Homewood Suites St. Louis Park and the 124-key Homewood Suites New Brighton. New York
City-based RobertDouglas advised on the transaction, which involved $33.1 million of floating-rate debt with an institutional balance sheet lender and future funding for renovations.
Okura
adds 2 in Thailand. Tokyo-based Hotel Okura Co. Ltd. has signed a new management agreement with Bangkok-based Asset World Corp. (AWC) for two new 200-plus-room hotels in Thailand: the Okura Resort Chiang Mai in Chiang Mai and The Okura Prestige
Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel. Both properties are slated to open in 2028, expanding Hotel Okura’s portfolio in Thailand to seven hotels. Hotel Okura’s relationship with AWC has gradually strengthened since the 2012 opening of The Okura Prestige Bangkok.
Whitbread
adding in London. Whitbread plans to open a 212-key hub by Premier Inn in London’s financial district next year. The company has just completed the topping out of the Snow Hill property in London, which is due to open as the hub by Premier Inn Old
Bailey in early 2026 in a converted building that was formerly used as a police station. Hub by Premier Inn hotels are in city centers and offer more compact rooms. It was created as a sub-brand by Whitbread in 2014.
Dreamscape
adds in Ohio. New York City-based Dreamscape Hospitality has assumed management of the Columbus Airport Marriott in Ohio. The 230-key hotel will soon undergo a renovation.
Ski
strike in Park City, Utah. The mayor of Park City, Utah, has called on Broomfield, Colorado-based Vail Resorts to end a strike with the Park City Professional Ski Patrol Association. The association went on strike in late December over what it claims
are unfair labor practices. On Monday, Park City Mayor Nann Worel issued a statement addressing the concerns about the long-term impacts that the strike could have on Park City’s tourism economy.

EMEA adds in the UK. Aimbridge EMEA will manage the new 120-key Hampton by Hilton St Helens hotel in the U.K. Construction is set to begin this year.
