It’s still not a deal to acquire the Graduate brand, but the
move increases inventory for Hilton Honor members, coming not long after a
partnership with Small Luxury Hotels.
McLEAN, Virginia – On the heels of its recently announced
partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World and as the industry waits to see if there is any teeth to a rumored deal to acquire AJ Capital's Graduate brand, Hilton is further expanding
its available inventory by announcing a partnership with Santa Barbara,
California-based outdoor hospitality company AutoCamp, making the company’s
tricked-out Airstreams and luxury tents bookable on Hilton’s direct channels in
the coming months.
Few details about the deal have been released but Hilton
Honors members will be able to earn and redeem Points and enjoy exclusive member
benefits while experiencing AutoCamp locations across the United States such as
Yosemite, Joshua Tree and Russian River in California; Zion, Utah; Cape Cod,
Massachusetts; and Catskills, New York; with Asheville, North Carolina, and
Sequoia, California, opening this summer and Hill Country, Texas, in 2025.
“This is the first time a major hospitality brand and
outdoor lodging company have come together in this way to create even more
choices for travelers while redefining the outdoor hospitality experience,”
said Chris Silcock, president, Global Brands and Commercial Services, Hilton.
Through an exclusive relationship with Airsteam, AutoCamp,
founded by CEO Neil Dipaola, offers custom-designed Airstreams, cabins, luxury
tents and other unique accommodations. Each AutoCamp also has
The Clubhouse, the social hub of the property, which serves food and
beverage options from The Kitchen, and offers grab-and-go merchandise
and retail items from a boutique market.
Surrounding The Clubhouse, the grounds are punctuated with
multiple common areas, including communal fire pits, trails, swimming pools (at
select locations), group meeting spaces and other outdoor amenities.
