NEW YORK CITY – New York City-based, wellness-focused Equinox
Hotels has signed its fourth hotel deal – this time with developer South West
Harbour Inc. for the Equinox Resort Anguilla Port Nimara in the Caribbean. The 62-room
Equinox Resort and branded residences will include 18 oceanfront villas, 18
upland villas, and 35 Equinox residences. Christie’s International will be
supporting the sales of residences.
The news comes as Related Cos. and Oxford properties have sold the Equinox hotel in New York City to Japan's Mori Trust.
South West Harbour Inc. is a joint venture of SF Investments
Ltd., Time Equities Inc., and Antillean Developments Inc. RCP Finance, a global
debt and equity advisory firm, played an integral role in structuring the
partnership.
Port Nimara Anguilla is another development by SF Marina
Project Developments and SF Investments Switzerland Ltd., (part of the SF
Group) under the lead of David Mizrahi, and developed in joint venture with TEI
Inc., a New York-based development group owned by Francis Greenburger, and
Antillean Development LLC, an Anguillan-based developer under the lead of
George Fraser.
Equinox Resort Anguilla Port Nimara is set to become a
centerpiece in the new Port Nimara, Anguilla, located at the South West end of
the island situated in a privately owned site with beachfront views between the
Cap Juluca and Altamer estates.
A 118-berth marina is tailored for luxurious vessels up to
240-plus feet and will operate as a fully dedicated Equinox Hotels and Port
Nimara destination, reflecting a unified vision across the development.
With its port of entry allowing for customs and immigration
clearance, the marina provides seamless access for guests arriving in Anguilla
by boat.
Equinox will bring its core values of movement, nutrition,
regeneration, and community to what it calls a high-performance living and
experiential lifestyle environment.
Amenities include an Equinox Club, an all-day dining concept
offering healthy food in a social scene, The Spa by Equinox Hotels, and luxury
shopping. A lively promenade filled with upscale restaurants and bars will
connect the marina to the hotel amenities and nearby beach.
Equinox Hotels got its start in New York City, will open Equinox
Resort Amaala in Saudi Arabia in 2026 and is developing Equinox Resort Treyam, one
of Magna’s 12 destinations on the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba and part of NEOM,
the evolving regional development taking shape in northwest Saudi Arabia.
