First Banyan
Tree in US. Singapore-based
Banyan Group, in collaboration with Coconut Grove, Florida-based Mast Capital
and South Florida-based Curated JCZM Development, are launching sales for the Banyan
Tree Residences West Palm Beach in Florida, which will be the company’s first hotel
or branded residential in the U.S. The tower will have 88 private residences
and will feature a Sanctuary Club, where owners have access to Banyan Group’s ecosystem
of more than 100 hotels and resorts and over 140 spas and galleries in more
than 20 countries worldwide.
Cloud One
to Miami. The Büschl
Group and ALP.X Group are developing a new Cloud One in Miami. The eight-story,
Cloud One Hotel and Residences will be the first property to combine a hotel
and branded residences under The Cloud One name. It will feature 214 hotel
rooms and 85 residences. The Miami project is part of a broader strategy for
Munich-based Motel One Group in the U.S. following the successful launch of The
Cloud One New York-Downtown.
OTH adds
two in Pennsylvania. Williamsburg, Virginia-based OTH Hotels Resorts has added two management
contracts in Pennsylvania and has entered the Gettysburg market. The 152-room
Courtyard by Marriott Gettysburg Courtyard Gettysburg features 2,000 sq. ft. of
meeting space and the 248-key Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel & Conference Center
has 62,500 sq. ft. of flexible meeting and events space. The additions bring
OTH’s portfolio to 18 hotels across the eastern U.S.
$15M loan
in Georgia. Savannah, Georgia-based Arya Hospitality has secured construction financing of
reportedly more than $15 million for a dual-branded, 146-room SpringHill Suites
and TownePlace Suites Marriott hotel in Savannah. Greysteel secured the loan
and an Atlanta-based regional bank provided financing for the project.
Sofitel
to Argentina. Accor’s Sofitel is partnering with Argentina-based Northbaires to launch its
first branded residences in Argentina with the Sofitel Residences Buenos Aires
Madero. The project will feature a 43-story luxury residential tower with 188
residences. The project is scheduled to be completed by 2028.
Resident
rebrands to Sirius. Resident
Hotels, the privately owned independent hotel company behind the The Resident
hotel brand, is rebranding as The Sirius Hotel Group. The Sirius Hotel Group’s
strategy is to grow its portfolio by more than 20 hotels over the next 6 to 10
years, bringing the group to 31 hotels.
IHG adds in India. IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a
management agreement with New Delhi, India-based Harisons Hotels & Resorts
Pvt. Ltd. to open the 150-key Crowne Plaza Resort Gurgaon Sohna in New Delhi.
The hotel is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2029. IHG currently
operates 51 hotels across six brands in India and has a pipeline of 89 hotels
due to open over the next three to five years.
