hotel on market. Apple Hospitality REIT is putting The Hampton Inn Downtown at the Gateway Arch
in St. Louis, Missouri, for sale for an undisclosed amount, according to a
story in the St. Louis Business Journal. The property has an appraised value of
$15.31 million and Apple acquired the property in 2010 for $23 million.
IHG adds
in India. IHG Hotels
& Resorts has signed a management agreement with Surat, India-based Yashvi
Greenco LLP to introduce the 110-key Holiday Inn Express Surat Gauravpath. The
hotel will mark IHG's first signing in Surat and is scheduled to open in 2029.
IHG currently operates 51 hotels across six brands in India and has a pipeline
of 89 hotels due to open over the next three to five years.
Hyatt
adding 2 in India. Hyatt Hotels Corp. today announced the signing of management agreements with
Brigade Hotel Ventures Ltd. (BHVL) and BCV Developers Private Ltd., part of the
Bengaluru, India-based Brigade Group, for two Hyatt-branded properties in
India: Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR and Hyatt House Bengaluru Devanahalli. Brigade
has signed a management agreement with Hyatt for the approximately 200-key
Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR, a beachfront hotel on the southeastern coast of India,
which is scheduled to open in 2029. BCV has signed a management agreement with
Hyatt for the 135-key Hyatt House Bengaluru Devanahalli, a greenfield
development scheduled to open in 2027 and featuring serviced apartments for
both extended stays and short getaways.
