New CEO for Beaumier. Challes-les-Eaux, France-based Beaumier, one of the fastest-growing European boutique hotel groups, has appointed Billy Skelli-Cohen as CEO, effective January 1. Most recently, he was CEO of Zien Group, the owner and operator of the Eden Hotels brand. Before Zien, Skelli-Cohen founded and led Lore Group. Beaumier currently owns and operates 11 hotels in France, Spain and Switzerland.
Four
Seasons adds in Greece. Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is partnering with Hinitsa Bay Holdings to expand in Greece and redevelop a beachside property at Hinitsa Bay, Porto Heli, Greece, into a luxury resort with private residences. The Four Seasons
Resort and Residences Porto Heli will have 80 rooms and 30 bungalows, as well as Four Seasons branded residential villas. Four Seasons currently operates 133 hotels and resorts and 55 residential properties in 47 countries.
IHG adds
2 in Saudi Arabia. IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Knowledge Economic City (KEC) Co. for two new hotels in the Islamic World District (IWD) in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The 552-key Holiday Inn & Suites IWD KEC and 505-key
Holiday Inn Express IWD KEC are scheduled to open in January 2029. IHG currently operates 43 hotels across six brands in Saudi Arabia, with 44 properties planned in the pipeline or already under development. Earlier this week, Marriott announced it was adding three hotels to the KEC development while Archipelago added another.
TPG
Hotels adds in Texas. Austin-based LXMI Capital, which recently acquired the Sheraton McKinney Hotel
in Texas, has selected McKinney-based TPG Hotels & Resorts to manage the 187-key
property. The hotel is located near TPG’s new headquarters.
AHIP sells in Corpus Christi. Vancouver, Canada-based REIT American Hotel Income Properties (AHIP) has sold the 101-key Hampton Inn Corpus Christi in Texas to an undisclosed regional owner and operator for an undisclosed amount. Hunter Hotel Advisors assisted with the transaction, which was completed on December 2.
Aligned adds in Arizona. Tucson, Arizona-based Aligned Hospitality Management has added the 98-key The Kennedy Hotel, SureStay Collection by Best Western in Tucson to its management portfolio. Aligned has a portfolio of approximately 20 properties in the
U.S.
US down for week. Due to the Thanksgiving calendar shift, U.S. hotels reported lower year-over-year performance comparisons, according to CoStar data. For the week of November 24-30, occupancy was 50.0% (down 7.7%); ADR was
$141.09 (down 3.0%), while RevPAR was $70.59 (down 10.5%) Among the top 25 markets, Tampa reported the largest year-over-year increases in occupancy up +13.2% to 69.0%) and RevPAR (up 22.6% to $106.16).
Hilton
debuts in Moldova. Hilton will debut in the Republic of Moldova by opening in Chișinău. The Hilton Garden Inn project will undergo an extensive reconstruction of the historic Dacia Hotel building, and the hotel is scheduled to reopen
in 2026. The local investment in the franchise project starts with an initial allocation of €5 million, with projections to reach €10-12 million in the coming years.
Ennismore
adds in Vietnam. Ennismore is partnering with Da Nang, Vietnam-based Sun Hospitality Group to develop the Rixos Phu Quoc, which will be the first Rixos in Southeast Asia. The hotel will eventually have over 1,300 rooms and is scheduled to open its first
phase in mid-2026.
IHG adds
Six Senses in Spain. IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a hotel management agreement with the joint venture created by Sidercom and El Enebro to open the 60-room Six Senses Quexigal Palace, expected to open at the end of 2026. The hotel is being
converted from a 16th-century palace famous for being Spain's most beautiful country estate. IHG’s portfolio in Spain includes 55 open hotels and 15 properties in the development pipeline.
Accor
adds Novotel in KSA. Accor is partnering with Saleh Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Partners & Co Ltd. to develop the 160-key Novotel Riyadh Al Wurud, marking the brand’s expansion across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The new-build hotel is scheduled to open in 2028
and will also include 65 serviced apartments.
Oetker
adds in France. Bade-Wurtemberg, Germany-based Oetker Collection is opening a new 52-key property in St Tropez, France, in partnership with owners the Pariente and Essebag families. The hotel is scheduled to open for the 2027 season and will increase Oetker’s portfolio to 13 properties.
Hyatt
adds in Japan. Hyatt Hotels Corp. has entered into a franchise agreement with JR Tokai Hotels Co. Ltd. for Hotel NEI Nara in Nara, Japan. The property will be the first The Unbound Collection by Hyatt hotel in western Japan and third overall in Japan,
joining Fuji Speedway Hotel in Shizuoka and Hotel Toranomon Hills in Tokyo. The project is a joint venture between Central Japan Railway Company, JR Tokai Real Estate Co. Ltd. and JR Tokai Hotels Co. Ltd.
