Hilton to
double Signia portfolio. Signia by Hilton, hotels in gateway
cities and resort destinations, is set to double the portfolio by 2028. Following its international debut
with the opening of Signia by Hilton Amman in Jordan earlier this year, the pipeline includes the 344-key Signia by Hilton Tainan in Taiwan, which is
scheduled to open next July and will mark the brand’s first property in Asia
Pacific. It has additional signings in Jaipur, India, and
Cairo, Egypt. Domestically, expansion continues with new openings and signings
in San Antonio, Texas; Hollywood, Florida; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Savannah,
Georgia. Since 2021, Signia by Hilton has nearly tripled its room count.
Peachtree
acquires small business lender. Atlanta-based Peachtree Group is acquiring Dallas-based
First Western SBLC, Inc., doing business as PMC Commercial Trust (PMC), a
nationwide direct lender specializing in Small Business Administration loans.
Following the deal closing, Peachtree will offer small business
owners access to SBA 7(a) loans, ranging from $50,000 to $5 million, to finance acquisitions of real estate or other businesses, purchase equipment,
provide working capital and refinance existing debt. PMC, an indirect
subsidiary of Creative Media & Community Trust Corp., is one of only 12
Small Business Lending Companies actively licensed by the SBA to originate 7(a)
loans.
Aman takes Janu to Ras Al Khaimah. Aman Group is expanding
its Janu brand with an announced deal in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE at Al Marjan
Island. There is no date for the opening of the 132-key Janu Ras Al Marjan
Island hotel, branded residences with one- to f9ve-bedroom properties and
limited collection of stand-alone villas, all next to the Wynn Al Marjan Island
and the marina. Additional Janu properties are under development in Dubai,
Turks and Caicos and Saudi Arabia.
Accor
debuts luxury brand. Accor is debuting Emblems Collection, a new global portfolio of luxury hotels,
with the opening of its flagship property, the 42-key Lucknam Park Hotel &
Spa, Emblems Collection, in the British Cotswolds. Accor also announced six
additional openings over the next two years. Four properties are set to open in
2026: the Rimrock Banff, Emblems Collection, in the Canadian Rockies, following
a complete renovation; Masseria Furnirussi, Emblems Collection in the Puglia
region of Italy; the 38-key Palazzo Sozzini Malavolti, Emblems Collection, in
Siena, Italy, will join the collection later in 2026; and the 51-key Relais San
Clemente, Emblems Collection in Perugia, Italy.
Lodgco
adds in NC. Grand
Rapids, Michigan-based Lodgco Hospitality has assumed management of the 82-key
Four Points by Sheraton Raleigh Arena, in Raleigh, North Carolina. The
hotel, Lodgco’s first in North Carolina, is situated directly across from the
Lenovo Center and just minutes from North Carolina State University.
Dalata
acquisition complete. The takeover of the 55-hotel Dalata Hotel Group is complete following a £1.2 billion
acquisition by Pandox, AB. The portfolio in central locations in
U.K. and Ireland includes 30 owned hotels, 11 leased hotels and three managed
hotels. Pandox now owns 193 hotels, of which 39 are in the U.K. and
24 are in Ireland. The company also revealed plans to add 31 more hotels with
over 6,600 rooms in the U.K. and Ireland under the Maldron and Clayton brands.
Scandic Hotels will now operate the hotels under long revenue-based lease
agreements.
Four
Seasons adds in KSA. Four Seasons is continuing its expansion in the Middle East with a pipeline of six hotels and three residential developments
across Saudi Arabia. The developments include: Four Seasons Resort and
Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay; Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea at
Shura Island; Four Seasons Hotel Madinah; Four Seasons Hotel and Residences
Jeddah at the Corniche; Four Seasons Hotel Diriyah; and Four Seasons Resort NEOM at
Sindalah.
Four
Points opens 100th in China. Four Points by Sheraton is opening
its 100th hotel in Greater China with the 214-key Four Points by Sheraton Xi’an
Bell Tower. Four Points by Sheraton has over 365 hotels in over 45 countries
and territories.
IHG adds
in Pakistan. IHG
Hotels & Resorts has signed a franchise agreement with Serene Tower (PVT)
Ltd. to bring the Crowne Plaza brand to DHA Multan, Multan city, a key cultural
and economic hub in Pakistan. The new 200-key Crowne Plaza Multan, slated
to open in early 2028, will be the brand’s first hotel in the city. The Crowne
Plaza Multan will join a global portfolio of more than 415 open hotels and
nearly 150 in the pipeline.
