H-Hotels
operates 60-plus hotels under multiple brands; deal increases HR Group's size by one-third.
BERLIN —
Berlin-based HR Group has acquired H-Hotels, one of Germany’s largest privately
managed hotel companies, for an undisclosed amount. The transaction includes more than 60 hotels across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, and Hungary.

Germany-based H-Hotels GmbH will continue to operate under its established name with HR Group further developing the H-Hotels brand. H-Hotels operates several brands, including Hyperion Hotels,
H4 Hotels, H2 Hotels, H+ Hotels, H.ostels and H.omes.
HR Group said it will leverage its expertise in procurement and sales to unlock additional synergies for H-Hotels. Over the coming months, the HR Group said it will work closely with H-Hotels’ teams to define a long-term vision for digitalization, food and beverage concepts, and an optimal organizational structure.
HR Group
said the acquisition marks a milestone in the company’s growth trajectory and
significantly increases its current portfolio by around one-third. HR Group
said the deal strengthens its position as Europe’s leading multi-brand hotel
management company.
