Coury Hospitality is taking
over management of the 420-room Hard Rock Hotel San Diego as part of push West.
DALLAS – Coury Hospitality has been tapped to take over
management of the 420-room Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, effective July 1, and
becoming the Dallas-based operator’s biggest asset.
Alongside the addition of Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, Coury
Hospitality is also expanding its portfolio with two new hotel additions and
the rebranding of three existing hotels. It will manage the new, 150-rrom AC
Hotel Bentonville in Arkansas for the Walmart family, as well as the 105-rrom
Seahaus Hotel, Tribute Portfolio in Atlantic City, New Jersey, set to open this
summer.
Existing property rebrand and renovations this fall include
the The Southlake Hotel (Southlake, Texas) becoming The Elmore Hotel | Tribute
Portfolio; The Beeman Hotel (Dallas, Texas) becoming The Mockingbird Hotel |
Tribute Portfolio; and the Marriott Westlake (Westlake, Texas) becoming The
Ricardo Marriott after an $18 million renovation.
These latest additions build on Coury Hospitality’s
nationwide growth, including the ongoing expansion of its Vin Hotel Collection
and a major West Coast push with 11 California hotels now under management.
Located in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter, Coury will manage
the Hard Rock Hotel for the ownership group represented by Tarsadia Investments
“Coury Hospitality has consistently demonstrated excellence
in food and beverage, experiential programming, and operational leadership,”
said owner representative Ace Patel. “As we embark on a transformational
renovation in 2026, Coury’s partnership will be instrumental in reimagining
every touchpoint of the guest experience—from design to dining concepts to
cultural programming. With our shared vision, we’re confident this next chapter
will redefine what Hard Rock Hotel San Diego represents for both locals and
global travelers.”
