Crestline acquires 13 Five Senses management contracts

FAIRFAX, Virginia – Crestline Hotels & Resorts has acquired the management contracts of 13 hotels previously part of Five Senses Hospitality’s portfolio. No other details about the deal have been made available.

The properties are spread over three states and total 1,240 keys. The portfolio builds on Crestline’s presence in Colorado with 11 additional properties and expands the company’s geographic presence by adding hotels in Kansas and Arkansas. Crestline now manages 135 hotels (18,400 rooms) in 29 states and the District of Columbia.

The portfolio includes six hotels within the Marriott family of brands, two Hilton Tapestry properties, an IHG branded hotel, a Hyatt House, two Choice Hotels—including one Ascend Collection property, and one independent private label hotel.

In addition to the existing portfolio, Dallas-based Bedford Lodging, owner of six hotels in the portfolio, has engaged Crestline to manage an additional hotel currently under construction and scheduled to open later this year, a Tapestry by Hilton Hotel in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Founded in 2013 by Owner and President Jeff Blackman, Bedford has developed 10 hotels and acquired four since inception.

• Holiday Inn Express & Suites Colorado Springs Airport, Colorado Springs, Colorado – 94 rooms
• Hyatt House Colorado Springs Airport, Colorado Springs, Colorado – 112 rooms
• The Hoffmann Hotel, Basalt, Colorado – 122 rooms
• The Pad Silverthorne, Silverthorne, Colorado – 39 rooms
• Aloft Wichita, Wichita, Kansas – 126 rooms
• The Waters, Hot Springs, Arkansas – 62 rooms
