Ritz-Carlton
Dallas refinances. The
Ritz-Carlton Dallas, owned by a 70/30 JV of Partners Group and Honolulu-based
Trinity Investments, has secured a $210 million refinance of the 427-key
property. JLL helped secure a new loan through New York City-based Marathon
Asset Management. The JV acquired the hotel in 2022, went through an extensive
renovation in 2023 and was rebranded to a Ritz-Carlton in January.
Bespoke
acquires four. Warrington, England-based Bespoke Hotels has acquired four properties from the
Coast and Country hotel collection in the U.K. The deal includes the Caledonian
Hotel in Fort William, the Great Western Hotel in Oban, Pitlochry Hydro, and
the Marine Hotel in Llandudno. The hotels join Bespoke's portfolio of over 70
independent hotels.
Hyatt
adding in KSA. Hyatt
is adding two new hotels in Jaumur, a new satellite marina on Saudi Arabia's
Gulf of Aqaba in the NEOM region. The 125-key Park Hyatt Jaumur and 225-key
Andaz Jaumur Marina will mark a significant milestone in expanding Hyatt's
brand presence within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and solidifying its strategic
collaboration with NEOM. Both hotels are scheduled to open in 2027.
LeBlanc's
new role at Peachtree. Brent LeBlanc now leads Peachtree Group's business
development efforts across its investment platforms. As executive vice
president of business development, he will support Peachtree's efforts to grow
and expand its vertically integrated investment platforms. His responsibilities
will include focusing on cross-marketing strategies, fostering business
development and collaborating closely with the investment teams to drive
innovation and capture new opportunities. LeBlanc joined Peachtree in 2012 to
lead a growth strategy to expand Peachtree's footprint into the western U.S.
and strengthen relationships with premium-branded hotels such as Marriott,
Hilton, Hyatt and IHG. During that time, LeBlanc participated in more than $4
billion in real estate transactions across the enterprise.
Veranó
adds in PR. Veranó
Hotels + Resorts, an operator of luxury lifestyle hotels and resorts, is
opening the Veranó San Juan, the first Leading Hotels of the World in Puerto
Rico, in Spring 2025. The hotel was transformed from a 1950s office building.
Numa
expanding in Manchester. Berlin-based Numa Group is expanding its newly acquired lifestyle
aparthotel brand, Native Places, at the Native Manchester at Ducie Street
Warehouse as part of its ongoing growth strategy. The expansion from Numa Group
and Native Places, in cooperation with Deka Immobilien Investment GmbH, will
increase the property's number of units from 166 to 193.
1,000th Mercure. Accor's Mercure Hotels has opened
its 1,000th hotel. The expansion is
significant in greater China, where nearly 30 Mercure hotels have opened this
year, bringing its regional total to over 180, and Japan, which has opened 11
Mercure hotels recently. The 1,000-hotel milestone was achieved with a spate of
openings that included Mercure London Earls Court (UK), Mercure
Chandigarh Tribune Chowk (India), Mercure Fukuoka Munakata Resort & Spa
(Japan), Mercure Marival Emotions Resort (Mexico), Mercure Nantong Renmin Road
(China), and Mercure Dubai Deira (UAE). With the largest development pipeline
in Accor's portfolio, Mercure has more than 200 additional hotels set to open
by 2028.
IHG
adding first Garner in Turkey. IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed its first Garner hotel
in Turkey in a franchise agreement with FRT Turizm and support by AB Consulting
led by Ahmet Bilgin. The 126-key hotel will consist of four separate buildings
and is expected to open in 2025.
Pride
adds in India. Mumbai-based
Pride Hotels Group has signed the 71-key Pride Elite Hotel Phaltan in Maharashtra, India. The hotel is Pride's third property in
Maharashtra, after Pune and Nagpur, and the company wants to operate 133 hotels
by 2033.
