$324M
loan for Four Seasons. CMC Group and Fort Partners have closed a $323.8 million construction
loan from Bank OZK for Four Seasons Private Residences Coconut Grove, a
20-story waterfront residential tower in Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood.
The financing supports Florida’s first standalone Four Seasons-branded
residential development without an accompanying hotel component. The project
broke ground in October and is advancing on schedule toward a mid-2028
completion, with the tower planned to deliver 70 residences.
New hotel
in Alabama. Allred
Companies plans to break ground on a new boutique hotel in Florence, Alabama,
that is currently in the permitting phase. Construction on the site is
scheduled to begin in February, with vertical construction anticipated to start
later in the year. The 110-key Hotel Wilson is projected to be completed at the
end of 2027 and will be part of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection brand. It will be
managed by Atlanta-based Valor Hospitality Partners.
$61M refi
in Florida. Orlando-based The Kessler Collection has secured a $61 million refinance of the
Casa Monica Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection, a full-service luxury hotel
in St. Augustine, Florida. Berkadia secured the financing. This marks the
second deal Berkadia has completed with Kessler in the last three months.
First
Hospitality F&B vertical. Chicago-based First Hospitality has entered into a strategic
partnership with hospitality development agency Ring On Hook to launch the
company’s first dedicated restaurant and bar vertical. As First Hospitality’s
restaurant concept partner, Ring On Hook will support the company across the
full lifecycle of restaurant and bar projects, from early-stage concept
development and design coordination to pre-opening execution, training and
post-opening performance optimization.
Evergreen
acquires in Louisville. Evergreen Hospitality has acquired the 94-key Staybridge Suites
Louisville-East in Kentucky from an undisclosed seller for an undisclosed
amount. The buyer plans extensive renovations three-story, extended-stay hotel.
The sale was brokered by Hunter Hotel Advisors.
Lopesan
opening 3 in DR. Canary Islands, Spain-based Lopesan Hotel Group is expanding its footprint in
the Dominican Republic with the introduction of three new resorts opening in
late spring of 2026: Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort, Spa & Casino; the 239-key
Lopesan Serenity Bay and the 244-key Lopesan Splash Cove.
Choice’s
Everhome expands. Everhome Suites, the midscale extended-stay brand from Choice Hotels
International, continues to expand its national footprint with recent
openings in Texas, Kentucky, and New Jersey. These additions mark a significant
milestone for the brand, with 27 Everhome Suites properties now open
nationwide. The latest additions to the Everhome Suites portfolio include the
Everhome Suites San Antonio in Texas, which opened in October; the
Everhome Suites Bowling Green in Kentucky, which opened in November and the
Everhome Suites Somerset in New Jersey, which opened in late December.
IHG adds
in India. IHG Hotels
& Resorts has signed a management agreement with Rajdeep Infra & Sales
Pvt. Ltd. for the development of voco Lucknow, which is scheduled to open in
the third quarter of 2029. The 135-key hotel is currently under construction
and will be IHG’s third hotel in Lucknow. IHG currently operates 51 hotels
across six brands in India, with a pipeline of 80 hotels under development.
