Latest HITs: Rosewood grows residences; Accor adds in Hungary, Zimbabwe

Rosewood grows residences. Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Related Group and Dezer Development, are developing the Rosewood Residences Hillsboro Beach, a boutique, 92-unit condominium with 11 private boat slips in south Florida. Sales will commence this month with the project scheduled for completion in 2026. Arquitectonica will lead the architecture and Dutch design firm Studio Piet Boon will oversee the interiors. Residences will range in size from 2,800 to 6,400 square feet.

Mercure for Hungary. Accor is expanding in Hungary with a new franchise agreement under the Mercure brand for the 83-room Hotel Magyar Király in Székesfehérvár. The owner is Balance 99 Zrt.

Mantis heads to Zimbabwe. Accor has announced its first hotel in Zimbabwe, in partnership with Mambano Hotels Limited. Mbano Manor Hotel Victoria Falls by Mantis will be the first internationally branded hotel in Victoria Falls in over a decade and will be rebranded under the Mantis Collection in June 2023. The boutique hotel offers 18 luxury suites and a presidential villa.
