Among the noteworthy deals of the past week is MCR’s
acquisition of the Canopy by Hilton Charlotte SouthPark.
The Canopy hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina, was acquired from Tara at Southpark at a 20%
discount to the estimated replacement cost. Tara bought the hotel in 2016 for
$4.5 million, property records show.
