Among
the noteworthy deals of the past week was NewcrestImage’s acquisition of the
DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Columbus Downtown in Columbus, Ohio.
COLUMBUS,
Ohio — Grapevine, Texas-based NewcrestImage has acquired the 194-key DoubleTree
Suites by Hilton Hotel Columbus Downtown in Columbus, Ohio, from an undisclosed
buyer for an undisclosed amount.

Advisors represented the institutional seller in the deal.
“This
acquisition underscores our continued appetite for transactions that offer
strong growth potential in both market share and asset value,” said Mehul
Patel, managing partner and CEO of NewcrestImage.
NewcrestImage
has bought or sold nearly 275 hotels and close to 30,000 rooms for over $3
billion in 130 cities in the U.S.
The
DoubleTree is near the Ohio State Capital complex and the Greater Columbus
Convention Center. It is just two miles from Ohio State University and seven
miles from Columbus International Airport. Amenities include concierge
services, a business center, a fitness center, a lounge, and a full-service
restaurant. The property also offers almost 7,000 square feet of flexible
conference space.
