Among the noteworthy deals of the past week was JB Asset
Management’s acquisition of the Mercure Ambassador Seoul.
SEOUL — JB Asset Management has acquired the 270-room Mercure
Ambassador Seoul from Hyundai Asset Management for a reported price of approximately KRW300
billion. The hotel has been on the market since 2023.
JB Asset Management, established as a REIT last year,
reportedly also has acquired Japanese hotel company Sotetsu, which is expected
to operate the property.
