Among
the noteworthy deals of the past week was Friedman Capital’s acquisition of the
Capitol Hill Hotel in Washington, D.C.
WASHINGTON,
D.C. —Washington, D.C.-based Friedman Capital has acquired the 153-key Capitol
Hill Hotel in Washington, D.C. from San Francisco-based TPG Real Estate
Partners for $60 million, according to the Washington Business Journal.
TPG acquired
the hotel in 2021 from Hersha Hospitality Trust for $37.7 million, while the
hotel’s 2026 assessed value is about $41.7 million.
