Among
the noteworthy deals of the past week was Nrep’s acquisition of the Clarion
Hotel Stockholm from Aspelin Ramm Fastigheter.
STOCKHOLM —
London-based real estate investor Nrep has acquired the 532-key Clarion Hotel
Stockholm, one of the Swedish city’s largest hotels, from Aspelin Ramm
Fastigheter for an undisclosed amount.
The hotel
was acquired through Nrep’s €3.65 billion fund NSF V. The deal significantly
enhances the company’s urban property portfolio and collaboration with the
hotel chain Strawberry, which leases the full property.
The
acquisition grants Nrep control over more than 1,000 hotel rooms in central
Stockholm. The move is expected to bolster Nrep’s presence in the hospitality
sector and contribute to the growth of Stockholm’s hotel market, which shows
signs of strong post-pandemic recovery.
