Among the noteworthy deals of the past week is General de
Galerías’ acquisition of the 163-room Hotel NH Marbella, Spain, for a reported €20
million.
General de Galerías and businessman Tomás Olivo Lopez is
reportedly buying the NH in Marbella for a bit of a discount after the unnamed
seller put the hotel on the market approximately a year ago and was asking for
€24 million, or €147,239 per room.
This purchase is part of the Olivo's plan to build a hotel
platform with six properties.
