Among
the noteworthy deals of the past week was Nightfood Holdings’ acquisition of
the 120-key Hilton Garden Inn Palm Springs/Rancho Mirage in California.
RANCHO MIRAGE, California — Tarrytown, New York-based Nightfood Holdings has acquired the 120-key Hilton Garden Inn Palm Springs/Rancho Mirage in California from an undisclosed seller for $36.9 million.
A renovation is planned that would increase the number of rooms at the property to 125, according to a news release. The property will remain under the Hilton flag.
Nightfood Holdings is a hospitality automation company using AI-powered robotics and strategic hotel ownership. The transaction is one of the largest in the company’s history. The hotel will serve as a flagship property for Nightfood’s expanding Robotics-as-a-Service
(RaaS) platform, designed to reduce labor costs, address staffing challenges, and enhance operational efficiency across the hospitality industry.
The hotel is located adjacent to Cotino, a Storyliving by Disney community, which is a first-of-its-kind, 618-acre residential resort development.
