Among
the noteworthy deals of the past week was BH Group and Süzer Group's
acquisition of the W Hotel in Miami from the Al Rayyan Tourism Investment
Co.
MIAMI — Miami-based BH Group and Istanbul-based Süzer Group
are under contract to acquire the W Hotel in Brickell from the Al Rayyan
Tourism Investment Co. (ARTIC) for an undisclosed amount.
ARTIC purchased the 50-story, 148-key hotel in Miami in 2016
for $64.5 million (or $435,811 per room) and rebranded the hotel under the W
banner. The building was originally developed in 2008 as part of the Icon
Brickell complex.
