Among
the noteworthy deals of the past week was Leo Capital Management's acquisition
of the Embassy Suites Orlando International Drive ICON Park in Florida.
ORLANDO —
Hackensack, New Jersey-based Leo Capital Management LLC has acquired the
246-key Embassy Suites Orlando International Drive ICON Park in Florida from an
undisclosed buyer for $37.7 million, or $132,252 per key.
A renovation
is planned in the next 18 months. Crestline Hotels & Resorts will continue
to manage the property. Hunter Hotel Advisors represented the institutional
seller in the transaction.
Property
records show that the hotel last sold for $22.2 million in 2015.
