Among
the noteworthy deals of the past week was RE Capital’s sale of the Ruby
Stella hotel in London to LaSalle Investment Management for £48 million.
LONDON —
Geneva-based RE Capital has sold the 153-key Ruby Stella hotel in London to
Chicago-based LaSalle Investment Management for £48 million.
The hotel
opened last November with an “excellent” BBREAM rating, an EPC rating of A6,
and ESG-aligned features, including air source heat pumps and a reduction in
CO2 emissions of over 35%.
It was the
20th European hotel to open under Ruby when it launched in November 2024. IHG
purchased Ruby earlier this year.

advised LaSalle on the transaction.
