Among
the noteworthy deals of the past week was Ashford Hospitality Trust selling properties in New Mexico and Florida to undisclosed buyers for $153.5
million.
NATIONAL
REPORT — Dallas-based Ashford Hospitality Trust announced the sale of two properties to undisclosed buyers as part of its fourth-quarter earnings in late
February.
The REIT
sold La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa in New Mexico for $57.5 million and
the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront hotel in Florida for $96 million. The Santa
Fe and St. Petersburg properties are expected to close in the coming weeks.

Ashford
Trust said it is also marketing potential sales for 18 more of its hotels as it
continues to deleverage its portfolio to help pay down debt and increase
EBITDA.
