Deal activity: February 13-19, 2024

MINNEAPOLIS — Milwaukee-based Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Minneapolis-based Hempel Real Estate and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma-based Robinson Park Investments have jointly acquired the 251-key Loews Minneapolis Hotel for an undisclosed price. New York-based Loews Hotels & Resorts paid $65 million in 2014 to acquire the then-named Graves 601 Hotel from the local Graves Hospitality Corp.

The acquisition is expected to close at the beginning of March, and upon closing, Marcus will assume the hotel’s management and rebrand the hotel.
