Among
the noteworthy deals of the past week is EDG Hospitality Miami Airport’s sale
of the EVEN Hotel Miami – Airport to NexGen Hotels.
Illinois-based NexGen Hotels purchased
the 190-key EVEN Hotel Miami – Airport from Miami-based EDG Hospitality Miami
Airport for an undisclosed price (it has a listed market value of $13.5
million, according to property records.) St. Louis, Missouri-based Genuine
Hospitality Group will manage the upscale select-service hotel. According to
property records, EDG acquired the property in 2015 for $3.8 million (or
$20,000 per key).
