Among the noteworthy deals of the past week is Witkoff’s
sale of New York City’s Park Lane Hotel to the Qatari Investment Authority.
The $623 million deal for the 46-story, 610-room Park Lane
Hotel was originally opened in 1971 by the famous New York City Developer Harry
Helmsley. Witkoff bought the hotel in 2013 for $654 million and subsequently
held off on plans to convert the property into high-end condos.
