Outgoing Six Senses boss launches service to bring soulful,
sustainable projects to life.
NEW YORK CITY – Veteran luxury hotelier Neil Jacobs has
launched Wild Origins, an advisory service that he said is purpose-driven and
rooted in instinct over industry to bring soulful and sustainable projects to
life.
The outgoing CEO of Six Senses and long-time
Four Seasons executive told Hotel Investment Today, “With Wild Origins, I’m looking ahead to redefine how
instinct and purpose shape hospitality. We’ll partner with innovators who share
the belief that true impact comes from intuition, not formulas. Our goal isn’t
to replicate existing models, but to ignite new ones that give back, spark
creativity, and pioneer sustainable experiences. I’m excited about what we’ll
build together over the coming year and beyond.”
Among the first partnerships under Wild Origins, Jacobs has
been appointed as a senior strategic advisor to Capella Hotels and Resorts,
supporting the brand’s global growth and strategic development. He is also
serving as an advisor to Desa Potato Head on its continued expansion and
long-term vision. Additional partners in hospitality, wellness, retail, and
regenerative land development, each aligned in the ethos of responsible,
forwrd-looking innovation, will be announced soon.
Jacobs told Travel Weekly that in addition to helping Capella devise a strategic plan, he’s involved in helping them find a new CEO. He also plans to help Desa Potato Head, with two hotels in Bali, expand into Europe and Central America.
Jacobs added that he is involved in several projects in Saudi Arabia and will help train Saudi nationals at the Riyadh School of Tourism and Hospitality.
Wild Origins is providing asset management and financial assessment, operational analysis, brand and marketing strategy, sustainability planning, comprehensive pre-opening planning and concept development across hospitality, residential, retail, and wellness.
“From concept development to brand building, financing to future proofing, Wild Origins transforms bold ideas into ventures that matter. Its mission: waste less, wonder more, and build with reverence—for the land, for the people, and for the future,” Jacobs added. “Wild Origins is about building what’s next. It is a space to reimagine how we live, create, and connect with each other
and the world around us. We are partnering with people and projects that are
bold and purposeful. I believe the best ideas feel both inevitable and
inspired, while being deeply grounded in purpose.”
