CHICAGO
—First Hospitality, a national hotel operator, manager and developer, is
launching First Analytics, a new suite of analytics and reporting tools.
The company
said the proprietary platform will empower leaders to make data-driven
decisions that drive revenue growth, optimize financial performance, enhance
guest satisfaction and boost employee engagement. The platform is is proprietary to
First Hospitality for now and won't be offered to owners outside of the company.

phase, we are providing owners with real-time analytics through a customized
dashboard, offering on-demand access to collaboratively achieve their
objectives,” said David Duncan, president and CEO of Chicago-based First
Hospitality. “We have created a tailored solution that enables us to strengthen
alignment, make data-driven decisions, and consistently outperform our
competitors.”
The platform
will be customized to each hotel, updated daily, and delivered through
Microsoft Power BI. Its features include:
- Daily
tracking of key performance indicators
- Market
share and channel contribution analytics
- Tracking of
guest experience across hotels and restaurants
- General
manager scorecard aligned with quarterly incentive compensation
- Individual
sales leader performance to booking goals and ROI
As part of
supporting the introduction of the platform, First Hospitality has promoted
Mike Kuzmar to vice president, where he will lead the company’s new business
analytics and intelligence division. Kuzmar was vice president of revenue
analytics and has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry,
with the past decade focused primarily on revenue strategy.
